Meet our Junior Board Members

The CSS Neuse Foundation decided to establish a Junior Board to prepare young people for service on the regular board, equip them to serve as docents, and glean ideas from them about how to boost interest and tourism through special events and social media targeted toward young people.

Mason Jones is a student at South Lenoir High School. He is passionate about historical preservation and education. He also enjoys metal detecting to recover artifacts to preserve them for future generations. In addition to serving on the Junior Board of the CSS Neuse Foundation, he is also employed at Tryon Palace.

David Buck is a student at North Lenoir High School. His hobbies and interests include theater, graphic design, and, most importantly, history. "I can't wait to see what the future holds for me at the CSS Neuse II." He serves as a member of the Junior Board.
